Credits represent automation activity. Most workflows average 3 credits per document package. They’re consumed when bots move data or trigger actions between connected systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, or Dynamics).
All paid plans include extended-hours email and chat support. Automate 360 and Enterprise tiers include priority Zoom support and premium SLAs.
Most teams are live within days—not months—thanks to altaFlow’s no-code builder and ready-to-use bots.
Built for teams who live in documents
altaFlow unifies document generation, eSign, forms, and PDF editing in one governed platform—removing the friction of juggling disconnected tools.

Using altaFlow
A altaFlow is a business process that includes documents, the people working on them, and bots that automate tasks like populating documents with data from third‑party systems, updating CRM records, routing documents, and more. The document flow is guided by your specific business logic, which you can visualize in airSlate’s drag‑and‑drop interface. You can add steps, branches and bots and set conditions to determine the path each document takes.
A document is an electronic file that you can easily manage within your altaFlow or process. You can upload your existing documents, create new ones from PDF files or images, set up web forms, or simply use a pre‑built template. Then, design your altaFlow around one document or assemble multiple documents in a single signing session.
A package is a group of documents processed together in a workflow. A new package is created every time a workflow runs. You can use bots to connect with various third‑party systems such as CRMs, ERPs, cloud apps, email services, SQL databases and more. Bots retrieve data from your system, fill document fields, update system records and attach documents to those records.
With a bot, you can connect to any system straight from your account—no coding or technical help is required. Simply select the bot you need and follow the step‑by‑step instructions to get it running.
For advanced integrations, airSlate offers REST APIs to integrate altaFlows into applications, cloud storage, websites or CRMs. With these APIs, users can create documents and web forms, send documents for signature, download completed documents and more. All altaFlow plans include unlimited users. The Free, Growth and Automate 360 plans mainly differ in the number of credits and features offered. Plans are billed annually, but if you run out of credits before your subscription ends, you can upgrade to a higher‑tier plan anytime. For custom terms under the Enterprise plan, contact the Sales team at +1 (800) 511 4951.
No. If someone receives separate documents to sign, they don’t need an altaFlow account. But if you’re sharing the entire altaFlow for editing and collaboration, those recipients will need to create an account.
User Roles & Permissions
Roles in altaFlow define what your teammates can do within a workspace. The roles are:
- Workspace Owner – has complete control over the workspace. They can invite contacts, change workspace settings, create altaFlows, modify altaFlow permissions and view all packages that have been created in the workspace.
- Admin – can invite contacts, change workspace settings, create altaFlows, modify altaFlow permissions and view the status of all packages created in the workspace.
- Auditor – can only view the status of all packages that have been created in the workspace.
- Member – is the default role in the workspace. Members can create altaFlows, modify permissions of their own altaFlows and view the status of altaFlow packages they have created.
Signer – is the default role for a contact who is not part of the workspace. Signers can fill out documents sent to them but cannot access the workspace.
Depending on their roles, users can manage teammates and company information, create and edit documents and altaFlows, and collaborate with teammates and people outside the organization.
